The TARDIS embarked on a Journey Into Terror today in 1965, in the fourth instalment of The Chase. This was the one which featured the Frankenstein Monster and Count Dracula alongside the Daleks and a killer robot Doctor.
Also on its fourth episode was The Daemons.
In 2010 the character of Craig, as portrayed by James Corden, was introduced in The Lodger. This was based on a comic strip in DWM in which the Tenth Doctor had to temporarily stay with Mickey Smith.
This won't be the last time that a Doctor Who story would be based on a comic strip. There's another on its way even as I write...
