Dodo was gone, and Polly was mentally enslaved by WOTAN, so it was up to plucky Able Seaman Ben Jackson alone to help the Doctor defend "the London" against The War Machines today in 1966. The Doctor was pretty much able to stare them down by himself in this third episode.
Meanwhile, Torchwood fans in 2009 were plunged into mourning for the death of Ianto Jones on Day Four of Children of Earth.
I've visited the shrine under Cardiff Bay's boardwalk several times.
