Another day of no new episodes, so we'll mention actor John Harvey, who passed away on this date in 1982, aged 70.
He portrayed Polly's boss Professor Brett, creator of super-computer WOTAN in The War Machines. The following year he was back, this time as gas mine controller Officia in The Macra Terror.
Outside of Doctor Who he featured in a few Hammer Horrors, such as Kiss of the Vampire and The Satanic Rites of Dracula, and other sci-fi credentials include X: The Unknown (which featured a young Frazer Hines). He has around 140 credits across his TV and movie career according to IMBd.
