Most of the other episodes shown on this date were concluding chapters - The Horns of Nimon Part Four in 1980; Castrovalva Part Four in 1982; Arc of Infinity Part Four in 1983; and Attack of the Cybermen Part Two in 1985.
Warriors of the Deep, meanwhile, delivered its third instalment today in 1984.
Last, but certainly least, Series 12's weakest story Orphan 55 made its debut in 2020.
