Part Three of The Creature from the Pit debuted today in 1979 - the only episode of Doctor Who ever to have been broadcast for the first time on this date.
The only other Who related episode to be shown today was the second instalment of SJA: The Mark of the Berserker.
November 10th is also the birthday of Neil Gaiman, one of the series' most famous contributors - writer of The Doctor's Wife and Nightmare in Silver. He turns 61 today.
