Series 7 Volume 1 DVD

If you want to know what the forthcoming DVD release looks like, here are a couple of images courtesy of Amazon (other on-line retailers are available). As I mentioned at the weekend, the extras are the Pond Life omnibus, and the two prequels (for Asylum of the Daleks and A Town Called Mercy).
As well as the standard version above, there is also a Weeping Angel limited edition cover - which includes a free poster of the Asylum image.
The set is released in the UK on 29th October. Amazon have both listed at a reasonable £17.99. The RRP isn't quoted. Even if you are a Complete Series Box-Set person, for this price I'd go ahead and buy. You get the poster, and the box set won't be out until Spring 2013 at the very earliest.
