A couple of images from the new trailer, featuring the VFX work and the other planet(s). In the image above we see the Earth apparently exchanging fire with a similar world, but one with more oceans. However, it still looks like Earth - with the land masses suggesting a USA partially submerged. An Earth of the future, after global warming has raised the sea levels? Mondas? Is it the real Earth and the one on the right the interloper?
A third planet features - in the foreground. It is covered in the big mushroom growths we saw in yesterday's short teaser.
This image seems to show an artificial (or at least technologically enhanced) planet firing at somewhere in Europe. Could this be some sort of Cyberman construction? It looks like this is the quarry / mushroom panet.
This image shows the TARDIS on one of the planets which has appeared next to Earth (which we can see close by in space). We've already seen this quarry planet in earlier images, but now see some futuristic buildings overlooking the area. You'll see that there are actually two TARDISes in the image. In the new trailer we see a close-up of the TARDIS door's "Pull To Open" notice, with the words replaced with "HaHaHa..." all over it.
Some people are conjecturing a second Doctor, but presumably this is a fake TARDIS created by the Master which has decoyed the Doctor and Yaz into a trap - and here they are running to the safety of the real TARDIS on the right. Maybe.
So we now have lots of imagery from the story, but how it all fits together is anyone's guess, as there hasn't been any sort of synopsis. If there is a press screening on Tuesday then this might follow.
