It has been announced today that the Doctor Who travelling exhibition "Worlds of Wonder", which is currently in Liverpool, will be travelling north of the border next.
From December it will be in the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.
The exact dates are 10th December to 1st May, 2023.
This is good news for me as I'm currently based in Scotland, and health issues prevent long distance travelling at the moment.
I'm assuming that it will visit London at some point - possibly to tie in with the 60th Anniversary in November, though Cardiff would be another possibility, what with the series being made there.
The exhibition focuses very much on the science of the series, and from what I've seen in pictures from Liverpool (such as that above) they manage to cram an awful lot in. As well as full size costumes, there are Cyberman heads and various prosthetic masks, models and designs.
Hopefully it won't be too long before we get a dedicated permanent location for a new Doctor Who exhibition.
