Very much just rumour doing the rounds, but I have read that the BBC Centenary Special will be shown on Sunday 16th October. [This was one of two possible dates, being the Sunday before the actual BBC Centenary date - the other being the Sunday after (23rd)].
It has also been claimed that Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and David Bradley all guest, and David Tennant is also seen (presumably at the regeneration). (As Tegan is in it, I would have thought Peter Davison would have also been present, if the other two are indeed in it, but his name wasn't mentioned).
Publicity isn't due to start until late August when the first big trailer will be shown. As well as its TV slot, it will also be getting a cinema outing.
The story goes that the first edit has not gone down well with the BBC and changes have been requested.
All rumour for now. Let's see how much of this - if any - actually turns out to be true.
