Guard Captain to Prince Reynart, heir to the throne of the planet Tara. He was fiercely loyal to his royal master. One day he and his commander - Sword-Master Zadek - came across the Doctor whilst he was fishing near Reynart's hunting lodge. They took him prisoner but, on discovering he had scientific skills, employed him to repair an android duplicate of Reynart, which was to be used as a decoy for expected assassination attempts. Farrah helped smuggle the android into the throne room after the real prince had been abducted by Count Grendel, who coveted the throne for himself. Later, Farrah was hugely impressed by the Doctor's sword fighting skills, when he vanquished the Count and rescued Reynart, Romana and the Princess Strella.

- Lavers took time out from acting in the 1980's and turned his hand to presenting for a number of years - including appearing on home shopping channels. He has returned to acting in the last decade or so. He became embroiled in a minor scandal in 2003, whilst presenting a morning magazine programme. Microphones were left switched when the cameras cut to another item, and viewers heard him and his co-presenter discuss a wholly unfounded rumour about Hollywood star Nicole Kidman's sexuality.
