It is rumoured that we might finally be getting an announcement of the next Blu-ray box set later today. Season 20 was "imminent" even before Covid, but for some reason has been pushed back more than once.
The set will include The Five Doctors, along with Arc of Infinity, Snakedance, Mawdryn Undead, Terminus, Enlightenment and The King's Demons. Turlough is introduced, the Brigadier returns, and Nyssa departs. Truth be told, however, it's the weakest of Davison's three seasons. Had it not been for strike action and remounts, the season would have ended with the story which would later become Resurrection of the Daleks, instead of the throwaway medieval two-parter.
I do believe this will be the next release - an anniversary season for an anniversary year. It's just whether or not we hear today, or next week, or next month that's the real issue.
Fingers crossed there will be a quick turnaround between announcement and release, so they can fit in another set before the end of the year (a Troughton at last, Season 6), though I'm doubtful.
