A lot of Doctor Who activity on 18th October over the years, but by far the most significant was the broadcast of the second episode of The Man Who Never Was in 2011. This was the final episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures, the last thing that Lis Sladen recorded before her untimely death.
In earlier times, she and Tom Baker had continued their adventures on Zeta Minor, with the final episode of Planet of Evil, shown today in 1975.
Meglos also reached its fourth and final episode on this day in 1980, whilst the Mindwarp section of the Doctor's trial reached its third episode in 1985.
Ghost Light was also at its third episode in 1989.
The fourth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures continued with The Vault of Secrets in 2010, a sequel to Prisoner of the Judoon.
Finally, in 2014, we had the debut screening of Flatline.
