On This Day... 11th October

 

Planet of Evil reached its third episode on this day back in 1975.

Five years later, in 1980, Meglos Part Three was also broadcast for the first time on this date.

Move forward to 1986, and Mindwarp reached its second episode (AKA Part Six of Trial of a Time Lord).

Then, in 1989, Ghost Light Part Two made its debut.

On 11th October 2014, Frank Skinner and the Foretold appeared in Mummy on the Orient Express.

Also on this day, in 2010, the fourth series of The Sarah Jane Adventures got underway with The Nightmare Man. The title character was portrayed by Julian Bleach, who is the most recent incarnation of Davros, and who also guested on Torchwood.

One year later, the final series continued with the second half of The Curse of Clyde Langer.

Today's birthday of note is Nicola Bryant - Peri Brown - who featured in one of the above episodes. She turns 61. Many happy returns!
