Frontier in Space, Episode Two, in 1973 - the only episode of Doctor Who ever to be broadcast on this date. Surprising, considering the number of seasons which were screened at this time of year.
Whatever happened to the Draconian Empire? In "Frontier in Space" it's big enough and powerful enough to be head to head with Earth in a cold war in space. As far as I can recall, it's never mentioned again, not even in any of the stories featuring an Earth (or Terran/Human) empire. Did the Draconians also fall into the crack in Amy Pond's bedroom wall?
