Made public last Wednesday - then hastily withdrawn by the BBC - we can finally show the cover for the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, since subscribers will be receiving it from today. I really cannot understand at all why they would have wanted this thoroughly bland image held back, and why Panini agreed.
Interviews with Chibnall and his final TARDIS team are promised, along with a double-sided poster and 28 page supplement magazine, which features the BBC TV Centre on its cover (so presumably something to do with the Corporation's centenary). There is also an Eighth Doctor BF audio download, and a cardboard TARDIS console room diorama of the original 1963 design.
One item I'm particularly interested in is a preview of the Season 2 Blu-ray Collection - which suggests we may not have too long to wait for it. A November release perhaps?
This will be the final DWM of the Chibnall / Whittaker era.
