Doctor Who On iPlayer

On looking through the press release by the BBC yesterday, concerning the release of all existing episodes onto the iPlayer, one particular line from RTD stood out. As well as the episodes, the BBC are also making available a lot of behind the scenes material, including paperwork and archive audio and TV clips.
What RTD says is:
"We're determined this won't be some dusty museum - we have exciting plans to bring the back catalogue to life, with much more to be revealed".
The obvious question is: what could these plans entail?
If he's referring to existing episodes then there's little you can do to enliven them, unless it's to remaster them or - as has been rumoured of late - colourise B&W material.
Remastering happens anyway, though, for the Blu-ray sets.
He might also be referring to further animations. After The Underwater Menace there are no more releases announced. A usually reliable newspaper reporter had previously stated that both this and The Smugglers were to be animated. (And before you say that the Troughton story already had half its episodes existing, they went ahead and animated all four episodes anyway).
We've only had one Hartnell story released in animated form, so hopefully more are being planned, and this is what RTD is referring to. Hard to see how else you bring archive material to life...
