J is for... Jorj

Jorj was one of the crew of a vast colony ship which had originated on the planet Mondas. He was a blue-skinned humanoid.
The vessel became caught in the gravitational field of a massive black hole. Time moved much slower at the front of the ship, where Jorj was based, than it did at the rear, which was hundreds of miles away from the black hole. Most of his colleagues left to travel down to the engine rooms on the lower levels, and were never seen again - though Jorj noticed rapidly increasing life signs. The control room was then visited several times by people from the lower levels, who took the remaining human crew away. These visitors were attached to fluid drips and covered in bandages, like hospital patients. Jorj was not taken as he was not human.
Two days after the ship had become trapped Jorj was now alone. He was confronted by new intruders when the TARDIS materialised.
The stress of being left on his own, and the threat of the strange people from the lower levels caused Jorj to become easily panicked. On learning that Bill Potts was human, he was shocked to see that someone was travelling up from the lower decks. To stop them he shot Bill, blowing a hole in her chest. The Doctor used his Venusian Aikido to disable Jorj, whilst the patients took her away.

Played by: Oliver Lansley. Appearances: World Enough And Time (2017).
