This month's figurines have been released - Jabe from The End of the World, and the Genesis Dalek. Jabe is holding her personal computer and one of Cassandra's robotic sabotage spiders. Odd to think back to the time immediately before the series was relaunched in 2005. We knew the Autons were coming back, as pictures of the climactic battle scene had featured prominently in the tabloids, but the first official pictures the BBC released of new aliens included the Moxx of Balhoon and Jabe. I remember seeing her on the front page of The Times.
The grey Dalek from Genesis of the Daleks is the first of the classic series Daleks to be released that isn't from the Hartnell era (excluding the Special Weapons one, which was obviously a one-off). This has always been my own favourite colour scheme (though I'm one of the few who also liked the silver / black sphere Death to the Daleks livery).
Unfortunately I am going to have to send my one back, as the dome is somewhat squashed and flattened at the back. Anyone else experienced the same?
